Lick Bath House
The structure is an unreinforced masonry building of approximately 8,600 square feet. The building has multiple levels and a brick tower.
TME designed a voluntary structural improvement which included tying roof to walls, improving some of the roof diaphragms, improving out-of-plane hazard of the walls by anchoring them to an improved diaphragm and providing secondary supports for the main members.
Structural analysis using SAP served as the basis for the design. Also included was the structural design and detailing for a new mezzanine.
