Nancy Tennebaum, PE, LEED® AP, Principal
Nancy Tennebaum, founder of Tennebaum-Manheim Engineers, has a wide range of experience in the design of new institutional, commercial, and residential buildings, as well as in the alteration and seismic rehabilitation of existing structures, with emphasis on historic structures.
Ms. Tennebaum received her Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering from California Polytechnic State University in 1980. She is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California, the American Concrete Institute, the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute, and the American Institute of Timber Construction. Her interest in renovation of historic buildings began while working for the Historic American Building Survey in Washington,D.C.

Daniel Manheim, SE,D. Eng, Principal
Dan Manheim has more than 25 years of experience in the structural design and construction of new and rehabilitated structures.
Dr. Manheim received his Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley; his Master of Science in Structures degree from Northwestern University; and his Bachelor’s degree from the Cooper Union. His experience includes two years as an engineer in Western Samoa during service in the Peace Corps. He is a registered structural engineer in California and Nevada, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California.
