Chabot Dam

TME was contracted under URS to provide structural engineering services for the seismic performance evaluation of Chabot Tower at the Chabot Dam in San Leandro.  Scope of work included a visual survey to assess the physical condition of the water intake tower, constructed of concrete and stone.  Documentation and FEMA analysis were performed, and lower-bound and expected material properties for the concrete and masonry were established from field observation, literature research, and inspections. 

A written report was prepared, entitled Material Properties and Condition Assessment:  Chabot Intake Tower.
